John Batchelor

The John Batchelor Show celebrates the pell-mell pace and you-can't make-this-up quality of the 21st Century. John explores the global contest not only in search of national security in the Middle East and here in the homeland, but also in the struggle for energy security and food security across borders. Along the way, John celebrates the classic set pieces of American politics such as grotesquely lavish national campaigns, stock market roller-coaster events like the credit crisis of '07-'08, the cleverness of the Congress to take care of itself first, and also the true joy of planetary exploration.

The John Batchelor Show has broadcast from many corners of this good, modest planet, including New York, Los Angeles, Washington, Boston, Des Moines, Manchester, Orlando, Jerusalem, Amman, Gaza, Kazakhstan and Taipei.

John is a veteran novelist, author of seven political romances as well as a short history of the Republican Party. Born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, in 1948, John attended Lower Merion High School, Princeton University and Union Theological Seminary in New York City.

The John Batchelor show can be heard in New York on Sunday nights on WABC-AM 770 from 7-10PM Eastern Time, in Washington D.C. on WMAL-AM from 7-9PM Eastern Time, in San Francisco on KSFO-AM from 7-10PM Pacific Time, and in Los Angeles on KFI-AM 640 from 7-10PM Pacific Time.
